Simi Valley

Located in southeast Ventura County, Simi Valley is nestled between the Simi Foothills and the Santa Susana Mountains. Just 35 miles from downtown Los Angeles, Simi is a favorite of downtown and Burbank commuters with its Metrolink / Amtrak station.

This bedroom community offers a wide variety of housing opportunities from condominiums and townhomes to luxury single family homes. Lost Canyon and Big Sky developments feature larger lots and newer homes, some with views, priced from the $800’s to $1.5 million. Many of the available homes are priced from the $600’s to the $800’s, making this a community that will appeal to a wide variety of residents.

With four golf courses, including the private Wood Ranch Country Club, two public equestrian centers, 34 parks, two public pools, and a large public library, the recreational choices are endless. Several shopping centers are conveniently situated throughout the valley with plentiful local boutique shopping and restaurants.

The Simi Valley Cultural Center is a historical landmark which has been preserved in its original 1924 architectural integrity. The center presents everything from jazz and rock music to classical, symphony, dramas, and musicals. The cultural center is also utilized for private parties and weddings.

At the western end of Simi Valley, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is perched atop a hill with sweeping views of the valley. Administered by the National Archives, the library holds President Reagan’s records and memorabilia from his storied career which spanned more than five decades. Special exhibits have included Vatican Splendor and the upcoming Titanic exhibit. With 300,000 annual visitors, the library is a destination for locals and tourists alike.
